About Christina Schott

Christina Schott Christina was born in Philadelphia. Her first artwork was created when she was a young girl, painting and drawing what she loved. In her teen years, She painted Art on the walls of her basement. She continued to pursue her love for painting, receiving a Fine Art Degree from CCP where she studied under artist Bob Paige. After college, she became a paste-up artist for Earl P. L. Apfelbaum, Inc., where she was responsible for producing their bi-weekly sales catalog including: choosing featured stamps, arranging them, and working with the printer to publish them. Interested in the color and style of watercolor and Pastel painting, she taught herself how to work with these mediums. In the 80’s, she married and raised her two lovely children. As time allowed, she continued painting. Christina has always loved the water. After over 20 years of owning a boat, Christina and her husband of 40 years (Jeff) were looking for an alternative. They both knew it had to be somewhere close to the water. They found Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and purchased a condo there. Christina found new inspiration in her studio and sold 12 acrylic on canvas paintings. Christina paints for herself, her family, and her love of art. She never wanted the “business-side of art” to influence what or how she painted. Her oil, acrylic, and watercolor artwork hangs on her family’s walls as far away as Regensburg, Germany. At the urging of her family, her paintings have appeared Bucks County galleries and art exhibits You can also check out her artwork at her website CSchott.com and a time lapse video of her painting on YouTube.
